Our Goal

Our efforts are dedicated to ensuring that graduates of our school are introduced to the dynamics of the working world, both in terms of technical-practical preparation and specific industry knowledge.

We offer various networking opportunities within the professional world and allow new graduates to work immediately in our productions, provided their skill level allows it.

We take pride in guaranteeing the annual presence of renowned voice actors and dubbing directors, such as Pietro Ubaldi, Massimo Corizza, Rachele Paolelli, Cristina Boraschi, Lorenzo Scattorin, and Sonia Scotti, during dedicated seminars included in the program.

THE COURSE

The Professional Dubbing Course is aimed at anyone wishing to pursue a career as a Voice Actor, with a particular focus on preparing and introducing the student into the working world.

Admission to the school is subject to an aptitude test: basic acting skills and predisposition for the profession will be evaluated. Upon a successful outcome, students will be directed to either the first or second level.

LEVEL 1 — ADVANCED ACTING AND VOCAL EXPRESSIVENESS

Level 1 focuses on acting practice through poems, dialogues, monologues, and complex scenes to develop interpretation using physical support. The program also includes intensive days dedicated to diction, vocal technique, and dubbing practice.

  • Every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM + one Sunday a month from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

9 months of teaching to lay the solid foundations necessary to tackle the professional dubbing training path.

Upon completion of the level, an audio drama will be produced and distributed on major streaming platforms.

LEVEL 2 — DUBBING AND PROFESSIONAL START-UP

One meeting per week, for a total of 200 hours.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, TWO DISTINCT CLASSES will be active:

  • A first class every Friday from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM
  • A second class every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with lunch break)

The level is divided into three terms:

  • 1st Term — Basic preparation: acting, diction, vocality, adaptation, and post-production. The goal is to gain awareness of microphone and home-studio work.
  • 2nd Term — Vocal technique and microphone practice: in-depth study of lip sync, OverSound and VoiceOver exercises, sung dubbing. Meetings with industry professionals such as: Rachele Paolelli, Lorenzo Scattorin, Claudio Moneta, Cinzia De Carolis, and many others.
  • 3rd Term — Professional start-up training: simulation of auditions and dubbing shifts in the recording studio, best practices on how to pitch to studios and manage early assignments. Meeting with a professional and production of a personal demo.

Who is it for?

This path is right for you if…

  • You want to improve your vocal and communicative presence
  • You study or are interested in acting, dubbing, or simply want to deepen your voice usage techniques
  • You feel your voice isn’t always clear, stable, or impactful
  • You want to work in a practical and guided way, not just theoretical or academic

The Course

The voice is not just a technical tool: it is the primary element through which you communicate who you are.

In this program, we work on text interpretation starting from the voice, but above all from the body: what supports, guides, and makes every vocal expression credible.

Through practical and progressive exercises, you will learn to use your body and voice in an integrated way, to build a more solid, aware, and effective presence when reading or interpreting a text.

This is not a theoretical path: every lesson is based on direct experimentation and immediately noticeable changes in how you express yourself.

Recording studio experience: At the end of the workshop, participants will work on texts selected during the program and record them in a real recording studio, experiencing a complete journey of interpretation and vocal delivery.

Program Objectives

The objective of the proposed program is summarized in the following points:

  • Understand the relationship between the three communication levels: verbal, non-verbal, and para-verbal
  • Highlight the interconnection between the three communication levels
  • Expand vocal expressiveness, starting from a “mimetic” body
  • Develop listening skills
  • Learn the necessary tools to effectively analyze a text in order to grasp the highest number of interpretative cues
  • Develop confidence and clarity in speaking
  • Increase one’s expressive “range” to effectively adhere to the character being portrayed

The program also integrates expressive reading techniques, essential for anyone wishing to improve their vocal interpretation.

At the end of the course, should the students wish to enroll in the advanced level, the reference teacher will evaluate their suitability.

🎙️ At the end of the course, students will prepare and record a prose text as an audio drama, putting into practice what they have learned.

Who is it for?

For actors (amateur and professional), performers, and anyone using their voice professionally, ready to take their expressiveness to the next level.

In this course, the body becomes the physical and sonic foundation of the voice: no theatrical performances, just the professional recording of an audio drama. The focus is on vocal interpretation, sonic presence, and the relationship between body and voice—skills immediately transferable to live performances.

The course is perfect for those who want to:

  • Develop emotional control and vocal versatility
  • Enrich expressive nuances as an actor, voice actor, speaker, or performer
  • Enhance presence and voice modulation for more effective performances
  • Transform their voice into a powerful and conscious tool

Course access: reserved for those who have completed the Preparatory Course or passed the audition.

The Course

The advanced program focuses on the acting practice of poems, dialogues, theatrical monologues, and complex scenes, to develop and consolidate interpretative skills, listening aptitude, and analysis of dramaturgical material.

In parallel, exercises inspired by the teachings of the following will be proposed:

  • Anna Laura Messeri: exchanges and exercises on selected poems
  • Alberto Giusta: improvisation
  • Neville Tranter: puppet manipulation on given texts

The course consists of three terms of classes (72 total hours), with lessons every Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM starting from October 2026.
If the minimum number of students to form two classes is reached, it will be possible to choose between two schedules: from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM or from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

To directly access the Advanced Course, it is necessary to pass an audition.

Objectives

The course aims to help participants grow on multiple levels:

  • Consolidate interpretative skills and step out of one’s comfort zone
  • Train listening and on-stage relationship
  • Develop critical thinking towards oneself and others
  • Control non-verbal body language and para-verbal communication, making every intention clear
